Sustainability
We are taking small steps to ensure sustainability, becoming Eco-friendly, more environmentally responsible and reducing our carbon footprint.
We have installed a bio-digester, the recycled waste water is used for gardening and for flushing the toilets.
We turn organic waste into compost in a waste pit that’s used as manure.
We have installed Solar Water Heating.
We make use of LED lighting in the apartments, they use 80% less energy compared to a traditional bulb with the same light output. Very soon, we will upgrade the lighting in the Common and Security Area to LEDs as well.
An in-house water filtration system is installed on the site to ensure the water flowing is clean and filtered, removing unwanted impurities from water such as sediment, taste and odour, hardness and bacteria to result in better quality water. This aligns with our goal to reduce the use of single-use plastics (SUPs). After installation, we have noticed the amount of SUPs used has drastically decreased.
